Traci Russell is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in psychology and recreation, and a Master of Art in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Her background includes working with children and adolescents, and she specializes in anxiety, depression, aggression, grief, conflict resolution, low self esteem, and adjustments. Some modalities that she often utilizes include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Traci focuses on offering a safe place for clients to talk that includes encouragement, unconditional positive regard, support, and a judgement-free zone. She knows there is not one specific modality, theory, or therapist that is tailored to every client, and therefore practices an eclectic approach in therapy sessions. She strives to be present in the moment during each session and tailors the session to meet the client’s current needs. When she is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time outside and with animals, especially her little dog with a huge personality.

If you believe that Traci can help meet your needs for counseling, she would be honored and looks forward to meeting with you to begin or continue on your counseling journey.
