Tammy Bond is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board-Certified Counselor with a master’s degree from Texas State University and a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. She specializes in working with men and women through anger management and intimate partner violence issues, conflict resolution, stress management, and relational issues. She utilizes counseling theories including Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Tammy also has extensive experience in working with children who have experienced abuse and neglect through her 33 years of experience in working for Child Protective Services. Through this work, she has observed the major impact abuse and neglect has on one’s life, even as the survivors become adults and parents themselves. She believes in the resilience of the human spirit and enjoys working with people to reach their goals and overcome the difficulties that impact their lives.
Outside of work, Tammy is a volunteer with Austin Boxer Rescue and has two rescue boxers and an inherited senior Shih Tzu. She also enjoys reading fiction, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
