Rebecca Weems

Rebecca Weems is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a love for meeting people where they are at and walking with them in healing. She holds a master’s degree in social work, and has worked in many professional settings, including a mental health hospital, hospice, skilled nursing facility, church, and foster/adoption. She brings a dynamic, person-centered, empathetic approach to every session.

With a deep understanding of family, social systems, and how our experiences affect our interactions, Rebecca utilizes evidence-based modalities in her practice based on the client’s needs and goals. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapies, Sand Tray Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy are among her tools, and she is always looking to expand her toolkit to best serve the individual.

Rebecca believes that the client is the expert on themselves, and that her role is to create a safe space, empower, educate, and foster hope and growth in the healing journey. Whether you are grieving, struggling with mental health, trauma, relationship dynamics, or life transitions, she sees it as an honor to walk with you in support.

When not in session, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working on her homestead, and baking.
