Lydia Royer has six years of experience working with children, teens, families, and adults. Her background includes working with children and teachers as a school-based therapist and with special education students, as well as with children, teens, and adults in a private practice. She specializes in working with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, school issues, parent-child relationships, and ADD/ADHD. Lydia approaches counseling with warmth, collaboration, thoughtfulness, and insight. She wants each client to feel heard, empowered, and supported in the counseling process. She is licensed in and utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), play therapy, Parent Management Training (PMT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help children, families, and adults reach their goals.
In her free time, Lydia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, volunteering, trying new recipes, and exploring new places in town. She looks forward to partnering and working with you!
