Brandie Stanley is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Liberty University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She aligns with an integrative approach to therapy in consideration of the client’s mind, body, and spirit.
Brandie is a Certified Trauma Professional and utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy with her clients. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults experiencing various issues, and will do so from a spiritual or secular perspective, as the client requests, to improve their life, awareness, and skills. Trained in EMDR therapy, Brandie hopes to help individuals find relief from traumatic symptoms.
Prior to her own academic pursuits, Brandie was a home educator. She was a homeschool teacher for her two children, as well as an online ESL teacher for foreign students based in China. In her free time, she enjoys playing board games with her family, hiking, meditation, traveling, and learning about spirituality/religious practices of various cultures.
