Brandi Winters is a passionate Social Worker invested in self awareness and personal growth and healing. She has an extensive background working with individual adults as well as children, adolescents, and their families.

Brandi has worked in the field of Social Work since 1993 in places including, yet not limited to, a State School, psychiatric hospitals, a foster home for boys, residential treatment centers, The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work, and private practice. Brandi is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas. She received her Bachelors of Science in Social Work (1999) and Masters of Science in Social Work (2001) from The University of Texas at Austin.

Brandi has specialized training and experience in areas including, yet not limited to, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Systems, and Trust Based Relational Intervention®. Brandi is also adept at incorporating a faith based perspective in this journey of healing and growth. Brandi takes a client centered and/or family approach to understanding and supporting individuals with struggles such as anxiety and depression, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, attachment difficulties, abuse and neglect, addiction, and relationship struggles.

Brandi’s view of her role as a therapist is to help individuals find healing and/or direction through their struggles. Like a road map provides options, direction, and insight into aspects of the journey at hand, Brandi’s clinical approach is like the functions of a road map; she is a guide supporting the driver.
