Anna Pineda graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. Subsequently, she earned her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Anna is a Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice (LPA-IP) with over 10 years of experience in psychological assessments. She initially worked as a psychometrist in the Division of Neuropsychology at a local hospital, eventually transitioning to conducting assessments independently with two Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authorities.
She has extensive experience in psychological measures and has given numerous professional presentations at national conferences. She has clinical experience with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ages, and medical conditions. She has undergone training in health psychology, and also has a deep interest and dedication to cultural sensitivity in assessment. Anna utilizes her Spanish skills to connect with individuals that prefer this language, and additionally has conducted assessments with the assistance of interpreters in other languages. She currently offers pre-surgical bariatric evaluations with expansion of assessment services in the near future.
