Daniel Manning is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a motivation to work together with adults, teens, and couples to find a path leading to fulfillment and happiness, and to navigate through the many challenges that life presents.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Restructuring (EMDR) are among the tools that Daniel uses to deal with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, identity and self-esteem issues.

Daniel believes strongly that what we think affects how we feel and behave. More importantly, we have the ability to take ownership of our thoughts. This produces a pathway towards a better way of being.

Daniel listens intently, is non-judgmental, and is compassionate in teaming with clients to find solutions. He brings extensive experience from private practice, the Salvation Army, and most recently, from the Veteran’s Administration.

Daniel is married and loves animals, especially dogs. He is currently in the process of publishing two books. One is titled “Saving Gracie and Me,” which is a personal experience about a special relationship with a beautiful canine named Gracie. The second is called “The Flower,” which is a short and simple children’s book that introduces concepts of love, respect, and the value of boundaries to young children.

It is an honor for me to be invited into clients’ lives.
