Linda Joyner is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Social Worker who brings over 30 years of professional experience to the Pathways family. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and her Masters of Science in Psychology from Tarleton State University Central Texas.
As a former private practice owner, Linda brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to her therapeutic perspective. In addition top her own practice, she has also worked for MHMR, Senior Connections, Educare, Heartland Health Care, Texas Workforce Commission, and the Department of Human Services. Her specialties include treating depression, anxiety, and adjustment difficulties, as well as clinical intervention as appropriate for geriatric adults and their families with the psychological, behavioral, and emotional issues of aging and disease.
Linda believes in the holistic treatment of the mind, body, and spirit, and uses clinically appropriate techniques such as validation, person-centered, reality-oriented therapies to help her clients manage their overall health and well-being.
During her free time, Linda enjoys reading, movies, and spending time with friends and family.
